Years ago, God gave me a vision of my husband and I serving as Marriage Ministry leaders.  The vision seemed to appear out of nowhere and it was not prompted by anything.  God showed me a “scene” of Jerry and I leading and teaching classes to married couples.  I saw the physical place, which was unfamiliar to me at that time, and I felt the intensity, excitement, and thrill that I always experience when I’m teaching.  It was so real.  Was God calling us to become Marriage Ministry leaders, I wondered.

Then our own marriage hit a very rocky patch that shook us so strongly that we separated for 18 months, and honestly thought that we would end up divorcing. (more…)
